S.T.E.A.M. is the acronym for:
Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math

In 1606 Spanish inventor Jerónimo de Ayanz y Beaumont patented the first steam engine.

Steam is the technical term for the gaseous phase of water, which is formed when water boils. Technically speaking, in terms of the chemistry and physics, steam is invisible and cannot be seen; (Sounds like our youth & elderly when it come to addressing their issues.) however, in common language it is often used to refer to the visible mist of water droplets formed as this water vapor condenses in the presence of (cooler) air. At lower pressures, such as in the upper atmosphere or at the top of high mountains water boils at a lower temperature than the nominal 100 °C (212 °F) at standard temperature and pressure. If heated further it becomes superheated steam.

The Physically Embodied Turing Test

April 26, 2017

How and What level of cognitive testing will AI go through to determine it's intellectual compentency?

April 10, 2017

AI would be given the same standardized, written educational test that we give to elementary and middle school students. without any hand holding. This is not just practice, It's real AI!

Identifying the nuances of improving performance, should be the goal here.  The method would assess a machine's ability to link facts together in novel ways through semantic understanding.  Much like Turing's original imitation game, the scheme is ingeniously direct.

Simply take any sufficiently rigorous standardized test (such as multiple-choice parts of New York State's fourth-grade Regents science exams), equip the machine with a way of ingesting the test material (such as natural language processing and computer vision) and let'er rip.

Controversial figure Rachel Dolezal said there is “some similarity” between her and Caitlyn Jenner on CNN’s Michael Smerconish on Saturday.

“I don’t identify as African-American, I identify as black,” she told Savannah Guthrie. “I am part of the Pan-African diaspora and I definitely feel like in America, even though race is a social construct and we’ve acknowledged this in academia and in science, there still is a line drawn in the sides.”

The words  we have been taught to use has their greatest value when it comes to influencing a person wants, needs and desires.  The lack of knowledge and understanding are key components to controlling how various levels of manipulation and/or exploitation are possible once arriving at a particular level of comprehensive consciousness, some examples are: science, society, slavery, economics, energy and institutions..

The Evolutionary Orgin of Female Orgasm

March 24, 2017

The evolutionary explanation of female orgasm has been difficult to come by. The orgasm in women does not obviously contribute to the reproductive success, and surprisingly unreliably accompanies heterosexual intercourse. Two types of explanations have been proposed: one insisting on extant adaptive roles in reproduction, another explaining female orgasm as a byproduct of selection on male orgasm, which is crucial for sperm transfer.
